Airframe and Powerplant Specialist (Contingent)

The Airframe and Powerplant Specialist (Contingent) will execute maintenance on military aircraft as a Contract Field Team technician. This role involves travel, training on aircraft maintenance, and adhering to company policies and safety programs. The position is contingent upon contract award.

Requirements

• Execute maintenance on various military aircraft
• Travel for extended periods working at various locations
• Train on routing aircraft electrical wire harnesses, basic wire terminations and various other maintenance tasks
• Interpret technical manuals, work cards, blueprints, wire diagrams/schematics, and engineering drawings
• Maintain shop supplies and perform preventive maintenance on assigned equipment
• Operate complicated shop tools and equipment
• Perform inventory control using logging, tagging, and organizing procedures
• Maintain tool control and accountability
• Adhere to company policies and safety programs
