Part Time Instructor - Transportation Institute

The Kilgore College Workforce Development and Continuing Education department seeks a part-time instructor to teach short-term training courses for obtaining a Class A Commercial Driver’s License. The instructor will be responsible for writing and reviewing course descriptions, building curriculum, and providing instruction.

Requirements

• Current Class A Commercial Driver’s License with a tanker endorsement
• At least five years of truck driving experience
• Associate’s degree or higher
• Training experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Effective presentation and computer skills
• Well-organized and thorough
• Ability to work with little supervision
• Patience, teaching ability, and listening skills
• Ability to deal professionally with diverse students and employees
