Job Description
Kimia Therapeutics is seeking a Senior/Principal Scientist in Medicinal Chemistry to join a rapidly growing biotech startup. The role involves advancing promising compounds into drug-like properties using ATLAS platform, computational approaches, and hands-on synthesis. The ideal candidate will collaborate in an interdisciplinary team, analyze data, and communicate results effectively.
Requirements
- Design novel bioactive molecules.
- Apply medicinal chemistry principles to improve protein-ligand interactions.
- Understand goals & strategies of the project.
- Independently plan, initiate and execute synthesis, purification, and characterization.
- Maintain lab productivity.
- Analyze data, interpret results.
- Maintain laboratory notebook and adhere to SOPs.
- Manage CRO chemists and attend TC weekly.
