Job Description
Kinaxis is seeking a Senior Applied Scientist to join their Machine Learning team. This role focuses on model development, strategy, and providing solutions for supply chain management. The position involves translating business problems into machine learning solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering robust production-able models. The team develops AI/ML software for Vertical Markets like Retail, Consumer Packaged Goods, and Life Sciences.
Requirements
- Master's degree in computer science or a related quantitative field with strong theoretical foundation in advanced machine learning concepts.
- Demonstrated ability to deconstruct business goals into actionable machine learning problems.
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML libraries and frameworks (Python, Pandas, Spark, RAG, prompt-engineering, vector databases).
