PLANNER-DETAILER

King Retail Solutions is seeking a Planner-Detailer to contribute to the success of projects by collaborating across departments. This role involves cost estimation, product development, manufacturing planning, and ensuring successful project execution. The position requires a hands-on approach, utilizing CAD software, ERP/MRP systems, and strong communication skills.

Requirements

• Analyze project scope and define manufacturing, shipping, and installation solutions
• Create cost estimates for labor and materials for custom designs
• Product development of new designs that satisfy design intent, function, safety, lead time, packaging/shipping, installation and budget requirements
• Collaborate with upstream partners to ensure alignment on project goals
• Create and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOM) and Routings within ERP/MRP systems
• Manage product lifecycle from setup through sunset, including maintenance and improvements
• Conduct job cost analysis and suggest efficiencies and cost-saving measures
• Monitor production progress, identify potential issues, and provide solutions
• Create 3D solid models of décor and fixtures
• Create clear and comprehensive production drawings using AutoDesk Inventor
• Create packaging shipping plans and calculate size and weights of shipments
• Utilize knowledge of manufacturing methods and materials to help optimize products
• Maintain project timelines and assigned deadlines
