Emergency Room RN 2p-2a Full-Time 15K sign-on bonus

This is a full-time Registered Nurse position at KHI, designed to provide high-quality nursing care to patients. The RN will work in a sensitive environment, performing essential nursing tasks, adhering to nursing standards and regulations, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. They must prioritize quality care, patient safety, and compassion.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Nursing or graduate of a Nursing Diploma program
• Current, valid Arizona RN license or compact state RN license
• Current BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Medical Surgical Units: Basic EKG competency within 3 months of hire
• Pediatrics: PALS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross within 6 months of hire
• Intensive Care Unit/Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit: ACLS/PALS certification within 3 months of hire
• Emergency Department: ACLS and PALS certification within 3 months of hire
• Women’s Services: NRP certification within 6 months of hire
• Emergency Severity Index (ESI) training required within 6 months of hire
• TNCC required within 24 months of hire
• Cardiac Medicine: Basic EKG competency within 30 days of hire
• Clinical Lead: Maintain BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications and expertise, including classification and de-escalation techniques, NRP, Basic EKG, and ESI, per RN position description
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse
