Job Description
KIPP Indy is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Science Teacher to deliver inquiry-based instruction in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. Teachers will develop critical thinking skills and utilize lesson plans aligned with state standards. The role requires fostering a strong classroom environment and collaborating with the academic team.
Requirements
- Valid Indiana teaching license with certification in science
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or a related field
- Experience teaching high school science (preferred)
- Strong record of helping students succeed academically (preferred)
- Commitment to KIPP Indy’s mission and vision (required)
- Pass a criminal background check (required)
