Detroit Salt is a historic organization that supplies rock salt and premium ice melter formulations. The Maintenance Superintendent will contribute to maintaining the company's efficient mining process and enriching the workforce.

Requirements

• Analyzing demands for repair and improvements of site manufacturing equipment
• Developing an efficient strategy for equipment
• Supervising contractors as necessary
• Analyzing product or equipment specifications and performance requirements
• Determining feasibility of designing new plant equipment or modifying existing facilities
• Using computer assisted engineering and design software
• Developing expense and capital projects
• Providing technical information concerning manufacturing or protecting techniques
• Complying and analyzing operational, test, and research data
• Studying engineering and technical publications
• Assisting with the design and implementation of Electrical/Mechanical PM/PdM Programs
• Managing storeroom and inventory
• Managing mobile equipment Fleet
