Head of Accounting (m/w/d)

K kindergzimmer GmbH & Co. KG is seeking a Head of Accounting (m/f/d) to manage their financial accounting processes, optimize team, and ensure compliance with regulations. The role involves overseeing accounting tasks, reporting, and process improvements in a safe harbor for 3000 children in over 30 locations. The Head of Accounting is directly reporting to the Group Finance Director.

Requirements

• Completed degree in business administration, finance or a comparable trade-technical qualification
• Several years of professional experience in accounting
• Leadership experience
• Experience in a social organization or public service
• Excellent knowledge of bookkeeping, reporting and handling
• Common accounting (DATEV) and ERP systems
• High IT affinity
• Structured, proactive and communicative person
• Systematic and complex project management skills
• Ability to motivate and promote employee retention and promotion
