Job Description
MastertClass is seeking a driven Revenue Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in the company’s revenue accounting functions, which include reconciling and validating revenue data across 3rd party payment platforms, accurately applying cash collections to the customer’s account using appropriate accounting and business management software, and performing month-end close activities.
Requirements
- Accurately apply cash collections to the customer’s account using appropriate accounting and business management software (Zuora and Netsuite)
- Assist with monthly balance sheet account reconciliations and journal entries for month end close
- Work closely with sales and other departments to provide support, resolve problems, and reconcile accounts
- Validate data across 3rd party payment platforms, internal data warehouses, Salesforce, and Zuora (revenue engine)
- Create metrics, generating reports and statements for internal use
- Assist with revenue team projects and process improvements
