Requirements

• Be responsible for all Mechanical Maintenance activities in providing a continuous 24 hour maintenance service for all process and ancillary support equipment and services
• Coordinate the maintenance activities within a specified area of the plant
• Train, guide and develop the team, with a specific eye on apprentice development
• Allocate parts and prioritise work to maximize effectiveness of engineering resources
• Responsible for regular testing and maintenance of all Mechanical services and associated standby equipment providing Process and Plant Protection
• Improve the net operating efficiency of the designated area of the plant
• Enforce safe working practices to ensure that all activities are carried out in a safe manner
• Implement and develop mechanical maintenance routines for the designated areas
• Ensure that spare parts are correctly stocked and appropriate
• Generate and implement (where applicable) innovations in the area
• Engage in plant C.I Activities
