Automation Engineer

We are looking for a motivated Automation Engineer to develop new product control systems, improve existing designs, and troubleshoot systems. The role involves machine control software development, programming, problem-solving, and support for field service technicians. Candidates must reside within a one-hour commute to Butler, Pennsylvania.

Requirements

• Develop PLC, HMI and LabVIEW programs.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards and safety standards.
• Troubleshoot issues in programs and systems.
• Support field service technicians with troubleshooting.
• Create supporting documents.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, 5-8 years preferred
• Technical Skills: LabView or similar; P.I.D. temperature controls, Machine Controls, Instrumentation, PLC/HMI, Data Collection
