Job Description
BIM Tech in Nashville, TN or Atlanta, GA is seeking a full-time BIM Technician to assist with modeling and detailing of complex framing systems. The role involves providing accurate models and contract drawings to internal/external clients, working independently or within a team. Projects range from existing building expansions to +800,000SF new building designs.
Requirements
- Associates Degree in Engineering Technology
- 3+ years of experience in the construction or structural engineering industry
- Experience with industry standard software, including but not limited to AutoCAD, Revit, BIM360 and Navisworks
- Basic knowledge of commercial building code and applicable structural design code material references
- Basic knowledge of building systems
- Ability to deliver BIM model, individually or within a team
- Strong communication skills
