Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our U.S. engineering team in Elgin, Illinois. The role involves designing and developing mechanical and electromechanical assemblies for sophisticated industrial equipment, collaborating with other engineers and manufacturing teams, and ensuring performance, quality, and precision in every design.

Requirements

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering required
• 5+ years of experience designing complex mechanical or electromechanical assemblies
• Proficiency in 3D CAD (SolidWorks or Inventor)
• Experience with PDM/PLM systems
• Background in castings, weldments, sheet metal, and precision-machined components
• Familiarity with pneumatics, hydraulics, and related systems
• Understanding of ECO/ECN processes and BOM management within ERP systems
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across technical disciplines
