Power Plant Engineer

This full-time position is for a Plant Engineer who implements, coordinates, and performs engineering support for plant operations and maintenance. The role involves ensuring plant safety, environmental compliance, and compliance with contracts, along with providing technical support for daily operations and plant improvements. The engineer will manage plant equipment, conduct root cause analysis, and manage IT administration.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or equivalent
• Ten (10) years relevant power plant-related experience
• Understanding of power plant operations
• Knowledge of computer and control systems
• Knowledge of chemistry related to power plant operations
• Knowledge of budgets, bid proposals, and contract evaluation
• Strong leadership and motivational skills
• Professional Engineering license in the state of Connecticut
