The Intake Specialist assists and manages the referral intake process at AristaCare Health, ensuring adequate insurance coverage for infusion services. This role involves effectively communicating with patients, insurance companies, medical staff, and external partners to ensure smooth transfers and safe discharge into care. The role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and effective communication.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- One year of intake experience and/or training
- Basic knowledge of the Insurance approval/authorization process
- Exceptional attention to detail, strong customer service, interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency with Excel
