Job Description
KPMG in India is seeking a dynamic Production Engineer to join their Product Engineering team in Bangalore. This role focuses on ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and scalability of production systems in a highly regulated environment. Responsibilities include proactive monitoring, automation, SRE initiatives, and incident response. They are looking for someone with a blend of development and support experience, particularly within Site Reliability Engineering.
Requirements
- 2–6 years of experience in Production Engineering, SRE, or related roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java, Kafka, and SQL.
- Prior experience in financial services or other highly regulated sectors.
- Proven experience in building and supporting large-scale distributed systems.
- Familiarity with SRE principles and monitoring.
- Basic knowledge of UNIX/Linux systems and shell scripting.
