KQED is seeking a skilled Radio Broadcast Engineer and IT Specialist to join their dynamic radio broadcast team. This role involves maintaining and repairing broadcast radio equipment, including transmitters, studio gear, and automation systems. Requirements
- Hands-on experience with FM and HD transmitters
- Proficiency in IT and networking
- Familiarity with digital audio delivery/streaming technologies
- Exceptional time management and multitasking abilities
- Strong communication skills
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to inspect, repair, and maintain all broadcast radio station equipment
