Project Manager Engineering (m/f/d) Saarbrücken, Köln, Berlin

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to coordinate and oversee complex projects integrating our technologies with client systems, particularly within the steel industry. This role involves leading internal and external teams, managing project scope, and ensuring client needs are met while supporting the company's growth strategy. The Project Manager will be responsible for the entire project lifecycle, from proposal development to commissioning, leading cross-functional teams, managing budgets and schedules, and serving as the primary point of contact for stakeholders.

Requirements

• A degree in mechanical engineering, plant engineering, mechatronics, thermodynamics, industrial process engineering, or a related field.
• Professional experience in project management within the mechanical and/or plant engineering sector, particularly in industries such as steel, oil & gas, chemicals, nuclear, or power.
• Experience with project management in large-scale technical systems (e.g., sintering plants, coke ovens, blast furnaces), with a strong understanding of thermal systems integration.
• Practical expertise in managing project budgets, timelines, and resources, as well as in project development and delivery.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with a transparent, goal-oriented, and motivated working style.
• A proactive and collaborative mindset, with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in project management software, with excellent organizational skills and a detail-oriented approach.
• Fluent in English; additional language skills are a plus.
• Ability to travel up to 30% as required.
