Job Description
Kraken is a crypto-focused company seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Pro team. The company aims to accelerate the global adoption of crypto by building and maintaining trading backend services, including matching engines and APIs. They are looking for someone passionate about crypto and want to contribute to building a world-class crypto product.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in software development with a focus on web applications
- Deep understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript and proficiency with React ecosystem
- Strong experience of API design, security, and performance optimization
- Experience with Next.js and WebSockets
- Experience with frontend testing frameworks
- Familiarity with UI/UX best practices
- Hands-on experience in consumer payments, crypto or fintech mobile applications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
