Job Description
KRG Technologies is seeking a Datacenter Technician for a contract position in Lincoln, NE. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in datacenter management, network, telecom, and VOIP, with a strong foundation in virtualization software like VMware. The technician will be responsible for managing 24x7 global datacenter operations, capacity planning, and ensuring high reliability and availability.
Requirements
- 100% hands-on datacenter management (servers, racks, cabling)
- Network, Telecom, and VOIP experience
- Rack and Blade servers, Storage, Backup, Tape library experience
- Strong foundation in Virtualization software like VMware
- Experience in infrastructure capacity planning
- Flexible and continuous learner
- Excellent communicator
- Works well in team environment
- Comfortable and effective working in new areas that require experimentation and rapid problem solving
