Job Description
We are seeking a Storage Administrator to implement and support storage infrastructure, including EMC, Network Appliances, and Netapp. The ideal candidate will have experience with enterprise-class storage hardware, fiber switch/director hardware, and backup software. The role involves implementing and supporting storage infrastructure, providing day-to-day operational activities, and assisting in data centre consolidation efforts.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of Enterprise-class Storage Hardware from EMC, HDS, and Network Appliances
- Hands-on experience with Veritas Volume Manager, Powerpath, and LVM
- Good understanding of monitoring and replication strategies, and storage concepts
- Working knowledge of Veritas Netbackup Administration or Tivoli Storage Manager Administration
- Unix and/or Windows systems administration experience
- Good understanding of OS/Application storage requirements and System Fault Tolerance Design
