Job Description
We are seeking a Storage Engineer to undertake implementation and support activities for storage infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have experience with Enterprise-class Storage Hardware, Fiber Switch/Director Hardware, and data protection and backup recovery solutions.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of Enterprise-class Storage Hardware from EMC, HDS, and Network Appliances
- Hands-on experience with Veritas Volume Manager, Powerpath, and LVM
- Good understanding of monitoring and replication strategies
- Excellent experience in storage concepts
- Working knowledge of Veritas Netbackup Administration or Tivoli Storage Manager Administration
- Unix and/or Windows systems administration experience
- Good understanding of OS/Application storage requirements
- Experience in System Fault Tolerance Design, Business continuity and Disaster recovery planning
