Requirements

• Develop maximum customer relations
• Be alert and assist in store security
• Handle customer complaints
• Recommend hiring, firing, disciplining, demoting, transferring, and evaluating produce department personnel
• Provide adequate knowledge and training
• Supervise all aspects of salad bar operations
• Maintain personable, clean and neat appearance of departmental people
• Maintain good communication with all store personnel
• Plan, organize, direct, and control the activities of the produce department
• Assure adequate stock and supplies
• Maintain and submit required records and reports
• Keep effective and good house cleaning in all areas
• Analyze continuously all aspects of produce department and make changes or recommendations
