Job Description
Swisslog is seeking a Controls Commissioning Engineer to support customer installations in the European region. The role involves the supervision of installation and commissioning, providing support to the field and operations teams, and resolving technical issues. This position supports intralogistics operations and is part of a rapidly growing robotics company.
Requirements
- Completion of vocational training as a mechatronics technician, electronics technician in automation technology, or comparable qualification
- At least two years of professional experience in commissioning intralogistics systems
- Basic knowledge of PLC programming
- Experience with bus systems (EtherCAT, Profinet, ASi) is advantageous
- Hardware experience with frequency converters, drives, sensors, and control cabinets is desirable
- Ability to maintain focus during stressful periods
- Ability to travel to customer site in Germany and internationally
