Job Description
The Resident Engineer serves as the on-site technical lead and owner’s representative for airfield construction and rehabilitation projects, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations and airport operational requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering field
- Engineering Intern (E.I.) license
- Minimum 6 years of experience in airfield, heavy civil, or transportation construction
- Strong knowledge of FAA Advisory Circulars (150/5370-10, 150/5300 series) and airport design standards
- Proficiency in construction management software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and irregular hours
- Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain airfield security clearance
