Job Description
This Industrial Electrician position involves maintaining, inspecting, and repairing all electrical systems, including electrical control and power distribution. Responsibilities include troubleshooting equipment problems, training junior employees, and maintaining equipment logs and records. The role focuses on compliance with safety standards and quality requirements.
Requirements
- Associate of Science Degree or Electrical Journeyman’s License
- Five years equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of NEC regulations (NFPA 70)
- Experience with power distribution systems, electrical panel boards, and switchgear
- Experience with motor control systems and electrical instrumentation
- Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and water distribution systems
- Proficiency in PC applications (MS Word, Excel, MS Exchange)
- Understanding of 4-20ma and low voltage feedback control
- Ability to work at heights
- Ability to work in confined spaces
- Experience with common PC office applications
