Job Description
La Causa Early Education and Care is seeking a compassionate and motivated Assistant Teacher I or II to join our team and support the daily care and growth of children in our programs. As an Assistant Teacher, you will assist in creating and maintaining a classroom environment that fosters learning, safety, and well-being.
Requirements
- Act as a back-up for other teaching-related positions as needed
- Supervise and interact with children while treating all children with dignity and respect
- Ensure a safe environment to prevent accidents, illness, and injury
- Follow legal, organizational, and contractual requirements
- Attend all meetings, workshops, and professional development activities as directed
- Establish and maintain good communication, collaboration, and cooperation with all stakeholders
