Bridge Engineer (2 - 5 years)

LaBella is seeking qualified candidates to fill a Bridge Engineer position in Charlotte, NC. The role involves analyzing, designing, and detailing bridge projects, including report preparation and field reconnaissance. Candidates should have a strong understanding of reinforced concrete and steel design, and excellent communication and organizational skills.

Requirements

• Analyze, design, and detail local, State DOT bridge projects
• PE License
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Structural Engineering concentration)
• 2-5 years of experience
• Experience with MicroStation, AutoCAD, SAP2000, Midas Civil, EnerCalc, and MathCAD is a plus
• Experience with Charlotte DOT and Charlotte bridge projects is a plus
• Familiarity with reinforced concrete and steel design
• Strong communication and organization skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Desire to work in a team environment
