Electrical Engineer

LaBella Associates is seeking an Electrical Engineer in their Poughkeepsie, NY office. This role involves preparing electrical design drawings, construction oversight, electrical modeling, and documenting field conditions. The engineer will work closely with other engineers and project teams, and may be eligible for a New York Professional Engineer (PE) license.

Requirements

• Building system design experience focused on power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, security systems & telecommunication
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, MS Excel, and MS Word
• Familiarity with electrical modeling programs – Lighting software AGi32, Power software SKM
• Familiarity with Arc-Flash Evaluation
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
• Minimum 5 years engineering experience involving building systems projects
