Highway Engineer

LaBella is seeking qualified Highway Engineers to work in the Scranton, PA office. The role involves designing and maintaining roadway, trail, and pedestrian infrastructure projects, including drainage systems, safety assessments, and road resurfacing. Candidates will collaborate as part of a team to prepare construction related documents and reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (with concentration in Transportation)
• 5 to 10 years of experience
• EIT Certificate or ability to obtain within 12 months (PE License a plus)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Experience with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Experience with Hydrologic and Hydraulic modeling software
• Experience with PennDOT and Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission projects
• Desire to work in a team environment
