Job Description
LaBella is seeking a Junior Highway Engineer to join their team in Buffalo, NY. The role involves designing and maintaining infrastructure projects, including roadways, trails, and pedestrian walkways, as part of a team environment. Responsibilities include project execution, report preparation, field reconnaissance, and collaboration with other engineers and construction personnel.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (with concentration in Transportation) from an ABET Accredited College
- 0 to 5 years of experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience using MicroStation and/or AutoCAD is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, such as Word & Excel
- Experience with Hydrologic and Hydraulic modeling software a plus
- Experience with PennDOT and Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission projects a plus
