Machinist

We are seeking a CNC and Manual Machinist to produce high-quality parts for aerospace and defense applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with machining on CNC machines, be proficient in precision machining, and contribute to team collaboration and efficiency. This is an on-site position based at Oak Ridge, Tennessee.

Requirements

• High school diploma (GED), trade school, or Associate's degree in Manufacturing Technology
• 5+ years of machining experience, with a strong background in CNC machining
• Prior experience with mechanical equipment, close tolerance machining, and fabrication of custom-designed equipment
• Familiarity with Quality Management Systems and standards like ISO 9001
• Strong knowledge of precision machining and metal fabrication processes
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T
• Experience with MasterCam software is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
