Job Description
The Catholic Coordinator of Religious Education is a part-time position responsible for developing and implementing religious education programs for Catholic families and single active-duty members at the JEB Little Creek Chapel in Virginia Beach, VA. The Coordinator will investigate new approaches to religious education, recruit and train teachers, and maintain official church records.
Requirements
- Familiarity with Religious Ministries in the Navy and Religious Support Army Chaplain Corps Activities
- Understanding of Navy organization and pluralistic ministry requirements
- 1 year minimum experience as a volunteer or contract religious ministry professional
- 1 year experience in teaching children in Catholic Religious Education
- 3 years of experience with Catholic ministries
