We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Archaeological Project Manager to lead archaeological monitoring and discovery projects. The role involves managing all aspects of project execution from planning to final reporting, ensuring efficient operations, safety, and adherence to quality standards. The Project Manager will also liaise with clients, field teams, and regulatory authorities.
Requirements
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resources.
- Communicate regularly with clients.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines and budget constraints.
- Lead project kick-off meetings and regular team meetings.
- Implement a quality assurance plan to maintain high-quality project outcomes.
- Oversee and actively participate in archaeological fieldwork activities.
- Prepare End-of-Fieldwork Letters, including drafts, revisions, and final versions.
- Oversee the transportation and processing of archaeological artifacts.
- Coordinate with laboratory staff to ensure accurate analysis and documentation.
- Maintain strict data integrity and confidentiality.
- Prepare comprehensive archaeological reports, including drafts, revisions, and final versions.
- Update and manage GIS data and archaeological site maps.
