Music Director

The Director of Music/Accompanist will provide musical direction and piano/keyboard accompaniment for Catholic and Protestant worship services. This role involves selecting music, leading rehearsals, and ensuring appropriate music selection for religious traditions. Collaboration with chaplains and serving as a point of contact for music-related requests is also part of the responsibilities.

Requirements

• Proficiency as a pianist/accompanist
• Ability to sight-read and direct four-part musical scores
• Experience leading music programs in a religious, military, or similar institutional setting
• Knowledge of Navy organizational culture
• Demonstrated commitment to providing music appropriate to the religious tradition
