Job Description
The Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the outlet, ensuring that guest expectations are met, and maximizing revenue. The role involves direct supervision of subordinate associates, managing financial performance, and implementing promotional activities.
Requirements
- Direct and control all subordinate associates
- Provide guidance and assistance to outlet employees
- Ensure service standards conform to requisite standards
- Prepare duty rosters and implement vacation and public holiday schedules
- Assist in planning and executing promotional activities
- Monitor and control financial performance
- Prepare departmental budget
- Assist in monitoring and controlling inventory
- Conduct front and back of house checks
- Assist in maintenance of efficient administration
- Assist in selection, training, and evaluation of subordinate employees
- Coach, counsel, discipline, and develop subordinate employees
