Job Description
The RF Engineer 4 will contribute to research and development efforts for future products and technology by designing, building, and troubleshooting cutting-edge radio frequency (RF) solutions for power delivery and plasma generation in Lam's etch and deposition products.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 8 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 5 years’ experience
- Hands-on experience with complex RF measurement equipment: Power Meters, Network and Spectrum Analyzers, oscilloscopes, field strength meters, etc.
- Experience with RF/uW generator/source, impedance matching networks, transmission lines, and antennas
- Technical working experience: 100 KHz to 100 MHz, single Watt to Kilowatt ranges, and high voltage DC delivery
- Familiar with high voltage (> 10 KV) and high current (> 100 Arms) design rules; arcing, tracking, heat, and parasitic
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Outstanding analysis and trouble-shooting skills
- Ability to drive functional requirements and execute in a dynamic team environment
