The Global Customer Operations Group brings industry knowledge and experience to help our customers implement their technology roadmaps. As a Field Service Engineer at Lam, you are at the center of customer support, ensuring the operational excellence of our complex semiconductor equipment.
Requirements
- University degree, bachelor's degree, master's degree, or a qualified technical training in the fields of microelectronics, precision mechanics, or electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable technical orientation
- Interest in complex tasks in the plasma etching, coating, or cleaning area of the semiconductor industry
- Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical circuit diagrams, diagrams, and operating instructions
- Ability to work in a cleanroom environment and wear personal protective equipment or a cleanroom suit
- Frequent changes in body position (e.g. bending, squatting, grasping, walking, sitting, rotating, crouching, kneeling, climbing, standing) to perform tasks
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with common office software, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Previous experience in electronics is an asset
- Communication skills in word and writing in English
- Basic analytical and problem-solving skills
- First experience in project management
- Excellent German knowledge
