Job Description
Quality Test Engineer to perform hands-on testing of FiOS equipment, including Set-Top Boxes, Broadband Home Routers, and Optical Network Terminals. Key stakeholder in providing recommendations for test changes and improving OEM and 3PL product quality.
Requirements
- Perform testing and full lifecycle support of FiOS products
- Develop and/or enhance existing lab test architecture
- Designing test measurement techniques to characterize critical test parameters
- Review & contribute to product test documentation and design documentation
- Establish lab test setups with limited information
- Provide test support to replicate customer experienced failure, track and troubleshoot issues and help drive solutions
- Applying best practices and contributing to the ongoing improvement of lab test procedures
- Support Quality Management team on lab studies and other quality assignments
- Provide clear and concise results of all testing to management team
- Manage and facilitate the movement of Verizon products that require quality control testing to be performed
