Job Description
LanceSoft is seeking a Software Engineer/Developer with expertise in Java and Web Application development. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of OOD/OOP software design patterns and principles, as well as experience with Spring technologies and web services. The role requires collaboration with system engineers and front-end developers to implement solutions and work independently to deliver high-quality features.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or STEM majors
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in software development
- Strong knowledge of OOD/OOP software design patterns and principles
- Experience with Java 6+ and Java open-source software components
- Experience with JUnit and writing unit tests
- Experience with multiple Spring technologies
- Experience with Relational Database Management Systems
- Experience with Java Object-Relation Mapping (JPA, Hibernate, EclipseLink, OpenJPA)
- Ability to break down problems and estimate time for development tasks
- Ability to make basic technology choices based on experience
