Job Description
Lane Enterprises is seeking a Mobile Equipment Operator to safely operate a forklift and transport products. The role involves heavy lifting, navigating tight spaces, maintaining forklift condition, and upholding safety standards. Requirements
- Possess a strong mechanical ability
- Must be able to do basic math
- Knowledge of the physics of load and weight distribution and center of gravity
- Forklift operators must have a good knowledge of warehouse arrangement and functionality
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must possess a minimum of 3 years experience working in a manufacturing environment as a forklift operator
- Pass forklift certification training and physical exam
- Ability to lift loads of up to 100 pounds without the lift truck
- Ability to climb, bend, squat, kneel, crawl, and reach above shoulder level
- Ability to withstand varying temperatures
- Ability to work in different positions for a very long period of time
- Ability to utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment
