Maintenance Technician I is responsible for performing preventive, corrective, and routine maintenance on production and facility equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of maintenance experience with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic systems; manufacturing preferred (chemical industry a plus)
- Ability to read and interpret schematics preferred
- Knowledge of OSHA and hazardous materials handling
- Basic welding, plumbing, and electrical skills
- Arkansas Boiler Operator License or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Forklift/towmotor certification
- Computer literacy and basic math skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and on-call rotation
- Ability to meet physical and fitness-for-duty requirements
