Job Description
LANXESS is seeking a Senior Mechanical Rotating Technician to maintain and renovate rotating equipment within their chemical production plant in Botlek. This on-site role involves daily inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring the reliability of rotating machinery. The position requires a hands-on approach with safety and teamwork as key priorities.
Requirements
- Inspect, maintain and renovate rotating equipment, especially pumps and compressors.
- Perform mechanical work.
- Troubleshoot, analyze problems and document your work.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance according to schedule and procedures.
- Work together with colleagues engineers to ensure long-term reliability.
- Always work safely: you follow the Seveso regulations, actively participate in toolbox meetings and ensure correct record keeping.
