Job Description
Goldman Sachs is seeking a Vice President of AI/ML Engineering to lead the launch and implementation of GenAI agentic solutions. This role focuses on reducing risk and cost in production environments through advanced ML and AI. The team collaborates with users to map production pain points into agentic AI, optimizing for reliability, risk reduction, and cost-efficiency. The position involves building, deploying, and scaling LLMs to automate production management processes.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience as an applied data scientist / machine learning engineer
- 7+ years of experience as an software development engineer
- 3+ years of experience designing, architecting, testing and launching production ML systems
- Practical experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and API integration
- Solid grasp of applied statistics, core ML concepts, algorithms, and data structures
- Strong analytical problem-solving, ownership, and urgency
- Proficiency building and operating on cloud infrastructure (ideally AWS)
