Job Description
We are seeking a Backend Software Developer to enhance existing code, integrate backend solutions, and ensure system security for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). This role involves troubleshooting complex technical challenges, supporting incident response, and contributing to system improvements for aeronautical navigation. The developer will work closely with cross-functional teams to improve mission systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years relevant experience or Master’s degree with 6+ years.
- Active Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain SCI post-hire.
- DoD 8570 compliance (Security+ or higher).
- 3+ years of experience in Python, C#/Java frameworks.
- 4+ years with unit testing, CI/CD tools, and GitLab.
- Familiarity with Agile/DevOps best practices.
- Linux and/or Windows system administration experience.
