Job Description
We are looking for a hands-on Cloud Engineer with prior experience in observability to join us in the Digital Ops team. The team designs, deploys and operates 150+ cloud services to increase the adoption of digital technologies internally and with our customers.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in Datadog products including configuration and cost management.
- 3+ years hands-on experience in a DevOps/SRE role.
- Practical experience in Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, GitOps, Datadog, Docker.
- Practical experience in the following technologies is preferred but not mandatory: ArgoCD, CI/CD w/Azure DevOps, Databricks, SQL.
- Proven experience in operating and managing a customer-facing cloud solutions involving observability, 24x7 support, performance and cost optimizations, tracking and meeting SLAs.
- Experience in working in remote teams independently, ready to speak up and ask for help, and able to follow processes to track work and complete tasks.
- Hands-on development experience in evaluating and building DevOps/SRE tooling (e.g. automation) to remove toil.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g. ITIL, Cloud architecture) are a great asset.
