Job Description
LaunchTech is seeking a Network Operations Center Engineer to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA). This role involves ensuring operational continuity, security, and performance across the enterprise network, providing 24x7 support to critical missions. The engineer will assist with network operations, maintain network infrastructure, and contribute to security and performance monitoring.
Requirements
- 4 years of direct experience in an engineering field
- Applicable experience with networking (LAN/WAN), TCP/IP, Multicast, OSPF, BGP routing protocols, and various WAN network mediums
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Micro Focus ITOM, NetScout, networking, and basic troubleshooting network anomalies.
- Understanding of COMSEC, Circuit Actions and DISA Tech Control procedures
- Current DoD 8570 Level II Certification (CompTIA Security+ or higher)
- Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
- Current Cisco CCNA certification (preferred)
