Material Handling

This Material Handler role at Lavelle is responsible for keeping our internal supply chain running smoothly by performing unloading and loading of trucks, processing incoming shipments, and transporting stock/materials/product to and from the appropriate staging /process/storage areas of the plant.

Requirements

• Perform unloading and loading of trucks as required
• Process incoming shipments in accordance with procedures
• Use material handling equipment to move materials to and from the receiving area
• Transports and delivers stock/materials/product to and from the appropriate staging /process/storage areas of the plant
• Record and submit accurate production and quality data, work records, etc., appropriate to the position
• Perform department TPM and/or 5S checklists as assigned
• Follow standard work, line clearance, and setup verification procedures relevant to the position
• Follow PPE and safety rules specified for the work area
• Participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement activities
• Train others within the work area
• Perform other duties as assigned
