Job Description
Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory has an opening for Mechanical Technologist/Sr. Mechanical Technologist to support the various operations of new and on-going experiments at LLNL’s Site 300 and Livermore Site. The position requires full-time on-site presence due to the nature of the work.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Engineering Technology, or equivalent combination of education and related technical experience
- Intermediate level skills and experience with solving a variety of moderately complex technical problems in completion of work assignments
- Experience with mechanical diagnostic equipment, maintaining area controls, assisting with mechanical diagnostic calibration and alignment, testing prior to experiment execution, and performing data recovery after experiment execution
